Forged in the same principles as the A side of "Chocolate Covered Death", John Beabout created these songs as homage to the same themes of life, death, rebirth, and mockery of the human condition through degradation, manipulation, and deceiving one with beauty, accepting death and rebirth as a revolving door, a gift and a curse. John and Brit discussed each song and concept heavily, throughout the entire recording, while working hand in hand on each track, producing every sound organically. The dichotomy of the sound on this side is also a clear nod towards the fine lines between sweetness and bitterness, love and anger, good and evil; a play on tones of the story throughout each song. Creatively expanding his signature method, what has become known as "the golden formula", John composed pieces all with extreme classical precision and tact, focusing on how each song would start and stop, note for note, throughout every composition. The synchronicity of each song is mesmerizing, harkening to the candy coating of the album's main Antagonist/protagonist, Death. Juxtaposed with the modern classical apocalyptic anthems are short and sweet pop songs, still adhering to John's golden rule, however given an extra sense of strong structure through focus of honest, heart felt lyrics that invoke an honest side of the album that shines through the twinkling melodies underneath. The flip side to the coin, and a joining of two monumental force to create a unique and multi-dimensional musical experience. It's finally happened!
