"The Black Light Sessions" revisits themes all too familiar to ISH ENSEMBLE while reinventing itself as a new sound; a new movement.
Recorded in Spring/Summer of 2019, "The Black Light Sessions" represents the conjoining of sounds and souls to conjure healing and create a higher purpose for oneself ; focusing on the dichotomy of light and dark, the opposing sides of each realm of existence, and the struggle of the balance of the two, while exploring the parallel of that relationship to our tumultuous, often feuding society, and the need to feel one again while being bombarded by social constructs that make us feel separate and lone.
It visits the feeling of seeking peace and light in the world, while it still sits in a state of constant War.
We hope these sounds heal you and broaden your insight to yourself and your true light and purpose.
